🏁 FROM 0 TO 100 IN UNDER A YEAR 🏁! What do you do when you keep winning new contracts and see an ever-increasing demand for electrical services? Then you expand your electrical service offerings! That's what we did last year with Andre Molvik, VP E&I (Vice President Electrical & Instrumentation), leading the way, and with installer Anders Vagstad Dragøy as his right-hand man, he has navigated the significant growth in just over a year! "We work well together, and that's a key factor when building up a new service. And, of course, you need good and independent people out on assignments – and we've got that," Andre confirms. Take a look at this rapid development ⬇️, and by all means: Are you an electrician? Check us out – we are constantly hiring more people! 2023▫️April:Electrical department established with a manager and four technicians after PSW wins maintenance contract at Equinor's refinery.▫️May:Maintenance at the refinery starts, and in addition to an expanded management team, we now have 15 technicians on site.▫️August:Demand increases, and we therefore increase the number of technicians to 25.▫️October:We hire a new installer.▫️November:We expand to 35 technicians plus supervisors and coordinators. We also acquire Future Energy and end the month by being re-certified according to ISO 9001-15, now also including electrical services.▫️December:We now have 100 employees in the electrical department and a new and expanded organization. A great end to the year! 2024▫️January:We establish our own service department at Mongstad.▫️May:We establish our own automation group. We are extremely pleased, and Andre is quick to praise his colleagues: "We have grown a lot in a short time and hired many skilled employees. Many are locals, but we have also recruited from other parts of the country, adding expertise to the region," says Andre. "In addition, we have apprentices on the team, which is not only positive for the education system but also for our own future recruitment," he points out. The electrical department is currently organized into three sections and delivers services nationwide: ▪️MAINTENANCE,led by Frank Fjellvard, Discipline leader. Here, maintenance services are performed in electrical and automation, mainly in EX-areas, explosion risk related.▪️INSTALLATION,led by Anders Vagstad Dragøy, Manager installation. Here, mainly installation and service assignments for industrial customers are performed.▪️MODIFICATION,led by Arild Wikøren, Manager E&I modification. Here, we provide services and personnel on- and offshore, and have customers in many segments. From rig companies and operating companies to shipyards and other onshore industries.Is it any wonder we are proud 🌟? We continue with rolled-up sleeves to give our best to our customers and to be a good workplace for our employees – and we cheer greatly for our growing electrical team🙌🏼!

Meet Ivar Alver – a PSW’er from today🤝! Ivar, a true Alversund and Nordhordland patriot, starts his job as VP of Engineering (VPE) with us today! As part of the management, he'll focus on our engineering services: Structuring and developing as well as identifying potential synergies across PSW Technology's companies. Ivar is also experienced in technical sales.- There's a high demand within the sector and many new, interesting markets. I'm ready to get to work! Ivar has extensive experience in the field. It was quite by chance that he ended up at Framo as a TAF student back when TAF was a relatively new direction in high school. From there, he received a study grant, so after completing his engineering studies, he returned for a few years, until he and two colleagues established Radøygruppen Engineering. The company grew and thrived until they integrated into Radøygruppen, with whom they had worked closely with. long cooperated / to whom they had long provided services. A couple of years ago, he moved over to OneSubsea, and the next point position on his CV will be at PSW Technology. We are very pleased with that. Ivar is known for being goal-oriented. He has a strategic focus with a creative approach to challenges. And what do people say about Ivar? Well, he is open-minded, structured, solution-oriented, and does not shy away from a challenge.  - Nothing is impossible. The impossible just takes longer, is his attitude. Ivar himself is positively expectant about working with us.- I see PSW Technology as a very interesting company, and Mongstad as an exciting area for new times in industry and technology. Meet Kjetil Abbedissen – head of all projects📈!Kjetil joined the leadership team as "SVP Operations" (Senior Vice President) in February, but he’s been with us since the fall of 2022 to contribute to the bidding process for Equinor's maintenance contract👌🏼. Now he is responsible for all our operations, including both Mongstad and offshore as well as international projects, and it's great that he excels at structuring and organizing. Leadership teams will always benefit from different personality types, and Kjetil is the one who materializes ideas💭. Kjetil has long been familiar with PSW Technology, and his belief in the potential and opportunities was a key reason he wanted to join the team: - PSW has an exciting entrepreneurial phase behind it, and I believe we have a very interesting journey ahead. I'm looking forward to it. I want to contribute to development both here at home and internationally. His interest in the international arena has been built up through several extended periods abroad over the last 20 years🌏. Most recently, in 2022-23, he spent time in China and Kuwait as Project manager for Halliburton on behalf of PSW. Before that, he worked as a consultant with several years on various continents, and we have to go back to 1994 to find the start of this career path: Odfjell Drilling. Kjetil describes himself as distinctly positive and realistic; someone who doesn't take himself too seriously. And about the culture at PSW Technology, he says decisively: - There are many dedicated and skilled employees here👷🏼! There is a strong can-do attitude, and the entrepreneurial spirit is firmly rooted despite growth and change. This makes me positively optimistic for the future! Equipment enthusiast? Keep reading! 🚩Proud and excited operators recently rolled in our brand new AREAL BUNDLE PULLER at Mongstad refinery recently. Full concentration from both operators – and from curious colleagues who had been waiting for the event.So what do one use an areal bundle puller for?It's a tool specialized in pulling tube bundles out from heat exchangers, with dimensions up to:☑️ 20 tons☑️ 1.6 meters in diameter☑️ 7,100 meters in lengthDespite strong forces and large capacity, it can be maneuvered even in small and tight spaces. A niche product - strategic for maintenance, shutdowns, and modifications jobs, like the one we just did for Equinor Mongstad during turnaround TA24. There are just a few areal bundle pullers in our region, and we're proud to have one of them in our equipment inventory.Project Manager Sebastian Fonnes Hamlander Hamlander is proud that PSW Technology got to take on such a big and important job.- This was PSW's first turnaround, and we're happy they showed trust in us. We've had about 100 PSW employees and suppliers on the project during the turnaround period, and over those four weeks, we put in more than 17,000hours on mechanical diciplinesand about 3,000 hours on electrical diciplines. In addition, planning and preparations has been ongoing since November. It's been very interesting sitting close to the customer, working towards good solutions that ensure both HSE, quality, and efficiency in the work.And even though the areal bundle puller is undoubtedly a cool tool - here’s the gold:- It's the people who make this possible, Sebastian emphasizes. This is a very engaged team of colleagues who take care of each other and practice an inclusive environment. The workdays were hectic, yet people maintained a strong focus on HSE - which our HSE coordinators were constantly monitoring. A good working environment strengthens a good work culture - and from a professional point of view, we know these are important factors for good HSE practices. We’ll keep up our work on the project, hoping that our effort and results will lead to new opportunities for the turnaround in 2025!

Breaking News📣:PSW TECHNOLOGY AQUIRES MONGSTAD INDUSTRIER! Through prior collaboration we have identified many clear areas of synergy.When Mongstad Industrier AS today enters into the ownership of PSW Technology, we expect positiveeffects in both the short and long term. Primarily, we are strengthening our team with 45 highly competent employees with expertise in steelwork and prefabrication. Our capacity is increasing. Mongstad Industrier will keep its name and operate as an independent company for now, but we will be working towards a unified customer base. It will be business as usual for our new employees. Managing Director of PSW Technology, Richard Cornell, has good experience from previous collaborations: - We have a lot in common, including high quality standards for our work, and a strong focus on health, safety, and environment. Additionally, we are bothcompanies focused on apprentices, and committed to the development of all our employees. Shared values are a solid foundation. The former owners of Mongstad Industrier, Jan Helge Rikstad and Leif Ståle Vabø, are clear that consideration for employees and customers was crucial for the sale. - Since we acquired the business from Caverion in 2018, we’ve focused on building a solid workplace with a strong dedication to our customers. We have sought the right local partner to continue our work, and we see great potential for further development of the business through the sale to PSW Technology.
