Please take a close look at these posters. They depict cowards whose criminal behavior will never be tolerated in our great city. The NYPD will identify and apprehend all of them for their failed efforts to sow fear and discord in the place where mutual respect is the essence of who we are.

In Brooklyn last night, a robbery turned into a tense hostage situation. Your @NYPD83PCT police officers responded instantly. Our Hostage Negotiation Team established communication and after a two hours, convinced the suspect to surrender. This drone footage, provided by our TARU officers shows our highly trained Emergency Service officers apprehending the suspect without further incident. Excellent job by all involved. Thanks to their efforts and leveraging technology for better situational awareness, lives were saved.
