How do I see my results on Quest? ›

You will receive an email notification when your lab test results are ready. You can log in and view the results on your Quest Results page. Note: If you are waiting for lab results in California or Pennsylvania, your lab results may be held for a period of time before they are released.

Getting your results

Most test results are available within 2-5 days of collection. Yet some complex testing may take 14 days or more. Quest sends completed test results directly to the ordering doctor for review. Results will also be available in your MyQuest account as tests are completed.

If you walk in, you will have to wait for the next available opening. In addition, you will need to check in upon arrival and indicate that you are there to drop off a sample. Notes: Remember to bring your insurance card and identification documents.

Sometimes incomplete or out-of-date demographic information gets sent with a lab test order. When this occurs, Quest Diagnostics can't always match a lab test result to your Quest Account, and in such cases, we can't send a lab test result to MyQuest.

This means that the doctor has looked at the result and deemed it to be just outside of the normal range and the result is not concerning. No further investigation or treatment is needed.

Yes, a personal representative may drop off your sample at any Quest Patient Service Center. Appointments (in your name) are strongly encouraged and will receive priority. If your personal representative walks in, they will have to wait for the next available opening.

You can print a lab test result while viewing your list of lab test results on the Results page or while viewing the lab test results report. To print from the Results page: Click next to the lab test result you want to print, and then select Print PDF.

If you have a MyQuest account, your test results will be delivered to your account as soon as they are available. This is generally 2-5 business days from the time the sample is received, depending on your test.

Drug test results are typically released within 24-72 hours of a specimen's arrival at the laboratory. We are not able to provide donors with information regarding the status of a specimen or the result of a drug test.
